Ring All

Definition

Ring All is a call-distribution strategy in which an incoming call rings multiple group members simultaneously.

How it works

The PBX offers the same incoming call to each configured endpoint. Once one member answers, the remaining alerts usually stop. This can shorten response time in a small team but may generate excessive notifications in larger groups.

Business example

Three receptionists see the same incoming call on the shared reception number, and the first available person answers.

What to consider

Review busy-device behaviour, simultaneous-call capacity and the fallback route if nobody answers. A managed queue may be more suitable for larger teams.
