What is FMC?

FMC (Fixed Mobile Convergence) is a service for employees who communicate using a corporate number and work outside the office. Thanks to a special SIM card, they get all the benefits of a Virtual PBX without an Internet connection.

You can call customers from any numbers connected to the Virtual PBX (Stream Telecom, Kyivstar, Vodafone, Life, etc.), depending on the settings. Also, with the activation of the FMC service, you will have new 3-digit numbers by which employees can call each other.

If necessary, an employee can be assigned an individual city or mobile number for the FMC card.

This is the number of minutes included in the package and which will be used by employees for calls both within the Virtual PBX and for calls to other networks.
If there is a call to the short number XXX between employees (within VATS) or a call through external numbers of the company, then package minutes are deducted after the package minutes have been exhausted and the open credit limit of 26 kopecks / min over the package.
Yes, information on calls is instantly entered into the CRM.
The 3mob service works in the Vodafone Ukraine mobile network. The availability of the service will be completely similar to the coverage of the Vodafone network. If you use Lifesell SIM cards, the Lifesell mobile network will be used.
No, the service will not work in roaming. For such purposes, it is better to use an eSIM with an enabled data package + softphone on the employee’s phone.

If in a company all calls must be made through a single number, then in this case you can get through in 3 ways:

  • CRM is set to sticky and the client will automatically get to the employee
  • through secretary
  • by entering an extension number (if the option is configured in the IVR menu)
eSIM is an electronic SIM card, where “e” stands for “embedded”. Usually we use plastic USIM cards of different sizes, eSIM is designed to complement or even replace them.
